i’m kylie, a lover of design, architecture, traveling, art, coffee, chickens and of course flowers. While born and raised here in the Northwest, I was lucky enough to spend a large portion of my adult life, thus far, living in different places across the country and have taken so much inspiration from every corner of every little American town along the way. From the bustling plant nurseries of the East Coast, to the gorgeous rolling hills and biodiversity of the Virginia countryside, to the sprawling wildflower fields of Texas - the adventure always sparked a floral frenzy in my heart and my husband kindly helped me build a garden at every house we’ve ever lived in, so as to give my mind an outlet for creating and my heart a place to call home, away from home.
With our little girls in tow, we transformed every garden bed and flower field along the way into a laboratory of color, shape and design. Each new place we called home wasn’t just a stop along our journey, but a chapter filled with exploring, new friends, culture, history and of course a study in local flowers.
After being away for many years, we’ve returned to the comfort of our Northwest roots—our little slice of heaven is a 20 acre farm situated snugly between the two towns that my husband and I were raised. as I dig my hands into the rich, familiar soil I was raised on i hope to share with you a unique perspective for creating beauty in your own backyard and beautiful flowers that remind you of the qualities that make our region of the country so very, very special.
